What is snail eggs?

Snail eggs are small, round, gelatinous capsules that are laid by adult snails. Female snails typically lay their eggs in moist, hidden areas such as under leaves, rocks, or logs. The number of eggs laid can vary depending on the species of snail, but it is common for a snail to lay several dozen eggs at a time.

Snail eggs are typically clear or translucent when they are first laid, but they will gradually become opaque as the embryos develop inside. The development of snail eggs can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months, depending on factors such as temperature and humidity.

Once the eggs hatch, baby snails (known as snail larvae or juveniles) will emerge. These young snails will feed on algae, decaying organic matter, and other microscopic organisms as they grow and develop.

It is important to note that snail eggs are very sensitive to changes in their environment, so it is crucial to provide them with proper care and conditions to ensure their successful development.
